Our goal at Pensacola Beach Hideaway is to provide the best value for a family oriented beach vacation. We want you to have a good time, return, and invite your friends to stay with us. That begins with you knowing exactly what to expect on your visit, with no surprises. For example, we understand that some vacation web sites show photos that can be misleading. Our beach photos were taken from the actual unit you will stay in, not from around the corner or across the street. If your question is not answered here, please e-mail or call us.

We are pleased to announce that we can now accept Visa and Mastercard, but not American Express (yet). We will gladly accept a personal check in advance. Any money collected at check-in must be in cash. The on-site manager is not equipped to give change.

All of our reservations are weekly or longer, generally Saturday to Saturday. If we can be flexible on the dates, we will do everything we can to accommodate your schedule, but we do not offer "weekends" or "long weekends". Please contact us to discuss winter monthly rates.

All units are non smoking.

No pets are allowed.

Pensacola Beach is a family oriented area. Small student groups who are looking for a "relaxing time at the beach" are welcome. Student groups who intend to have keg parties are encouraged to go to Panama City or Destin.

Each unit is stocked with 2 sets of towels and washcloths for each occupant.

During the reservation process, we will hold your reservation on your verbal commitment for 7 days awaiting your deposit check. During that time, we will inform anyone else who inquires that there is a reservation pending, and that a certain percentage do not follow through. We will honor our commitment to you for 7 days.

A $200 deposit is required in addition to the rent. The deposit will hold your reservation until 4 weeks prior to arrival, at which time the full amount of the rent is due. The deposit is returned by mail after you check out and we find everything OK.

Our business is pretty simple. The prices quoted are plus tax and the refundable deposit only. There are no extra cleaning or admin fees. The 11.5% tax on our rates compute as follows:

    $750.00 + $86.25 tax = $836.25

    $850.00 + $97.75 tax = $947.75

    $1295.00 + $148.93 tax = $1443.93

    $1395.00 + $160.43 tax = $1555.43

Cancellation Policy:

    If you should cancel more than 4 weeks prior to arrival, you will receive a complete refund of your deposit and any rent paid, no questions asked.

    If you should cancel less than 4 weeks prior to arrival, and we are able to rent the same time to someone else, you will receive a complete refund of your deposit and any rent paid.

    If you should cancel less than 4 weeks and more than 1 week prior to arrival, and we are not able to rent the same time to someone else, you will receive a refund of any rent paid and we will keep the $200 deposit.

    If you should cancel less than 1 week prior to arrival, or simply not show up, and we are not able to rent the same time to someone else, you will receive a refund of your $200 deposit and we keep the rent paid.

Keys issued and not returned are $10 each.

The condos are located about 3 miles east of the center of activity of Pensacola Beach, not a practical walk for most. There is a free shuttle called the "Beach Trolley" that runs about every half hour during the spring and summer.

The condo includes basic cable tv, free local and long distance phone service, as well as free (wired) high speed internet access.

The things which are there include:

    refrigerator, stove, toaster, coffee maker, blender, microwave

    cooking and eating utensils

    pots, pans, wok, plates

    LP gas grill

    bed linens for all beds

    bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels

    soap

    toilet tissue

    dishwasher and dish detergent

The things you should bring with you include:

    personal items such as toothpaste, shampoo, soap (you might prefer your own brand)

    beach towels, all food items.

If you intend to make use of the high speed internet connection, plan to bring a 10 foot or so "Cat 5" type Ethernet cable with you.

We make every effort to ensure that all amenities are available and working. But there are no guarantees, as anything from the toaster to the swimming pool is subject to fail. If something fails to work, please let us know and we will try to correct it ASAP. We can not offer unlimited 24/7 support for Internet access issues.

Weather refunds: We cannot offer a refund if the weather is poor, but if there is a mandatory evacuation of the island due to the weather, we will give you a refund for the unused time.
